Home Antenna
If you have antenna and dish service to you home how do you hook up the new conversion boxes?
I use both for local news and programming and don't know how to hook up the splitter for both and also with a dvd and vcr combo.
You just disconnect the antenna lead and connect it to the digital converter box input. The use a jumper to connect the converter box output to where the antenna was connected before. There are two kinds of converter boxes. Some pass the original analog antenna signal through when the box is off and some don't. If you have the kind of box that doesn't, you won't see the old analog channels except maybe very snowy. But it shouldn't matter as you should get all of the same programming from the digital signals.
